Game does not start


Hey
When I start the R6 Siege Beta (doesn't matter if I click on the Icon on my Desktop or starting it via the UPlay launcher) the RainbowSix.exe starts. I can see it in my taskmanager. In addition the Play-button in my UPlay launcher gets grey. After 10 seconds the exe vanishes from my taskmanager and the Play button in my launcher is blue again. So the game doesn't even start...
The weird thing is, I already started the game 2 times before. But now it isn't working anymore. Any fix for this problem?


Do the dxdiag thing this is what happend with me.. TURN off THE IN GAME overlay... It will not let you start the game.. also this is the trouble shoot the ubi sent me to fix it as well..

Please try disabling any overlay or DirectX hooking software before launching the game. These overlays can cause issues when the game attempts to load content, or render 3D environments and user interfaces.

The following list of overlay / hooking programs are known to interfere with our games:

- Fraps
- Xfire
- TeamSpeak
- Mumble
- Steam Overlay (read below for further instructions)
- EVGA Precision X
- Gigabyte OC Guru I and II
- ASUS GPU Tweak
- ASUS Smart Doctor
- Gamer OSD
- MSI Afterburner
- MSI kombuster
- Evolve Client
- Overwolf
- Raptr

Note: This excludes Uplay as it is required for achievements, etc.

How to disable the Steam Overlay:
1. Launch Steam and click on the "Settings" button.
2. Click on the "In-Game Settings" tab.
3. Uncheck the box next to "Enable Steam Community In-Game" and click OK.

* Disable the Steam Overlay on specific games only by right-clicking on the game title, selecting "Properties" and unchecking "Enable Steam Community In-Game" on the "General" tab.

I would also like to point out that custom peripheral software and third-party game software can cause problems as well:

Razer, Logitech, Steelseries, etc.

After disabling all applications that use an overlay, try running the game again.

If this does not resolve your issue please attempt the following.

We need to make sure that all of your Windows resources and runtime installations are both updated and properly installed, as our games do require these resources to run.

Note: Sometimes these installations can become corrupt. During some of the installs, you may receive an option to "Repair" the installation. If so, select the option to repair which will overwrite the currently installed files.

Please be sure to download the proper version for your operating system:

- Run the DirectX redistributable .exe file.

- Navigate to the folder where you extracted these files, and run the program DXSETUP.exe. This will repair or replace any faulty DirectX resources.
